June 5, 2012

Hi everyone,

I'm having one of my low tolerance for pain days so I'm not sure how much I'll be posting. I'm just taking it slow and easy today. Thank goodness I'm in a position I can do that! Anyway, I have a few new things for today I want to share with you, including some mail I received!

So here's what I got: Certain Dri antiperspirant, which I won from Beyond Beauty Lounge
plus, KleanColor Holo Yellow, which I bought from Copious for just 1 cent! For once I actually sat down and planned out my manicure for this week and so I figured out a way to use 7 different colors all in one manicure! I'll be doing reviews on each of these 7 polishes, so check back in a day or two. I hope to get my other 3 polishes tomorrow, and I need one of them in order to complete this manicure... So, I will be reviewing KleanColor Holo Yellow among other polishes! I'm excited and looking forward to showing this with you all :)
This isn't going to be a full on review; I just have a few comments to make about Chi-Chi's Hot Thick & Chunky Salsa, and salsa in general. I am not a salsa eater; french onion dip was and always will be my dip of choice. However, last year I discovered salsa is absolutely fantastic when used in cooking! Most recently, I used Chi-Chi's Hot Thick & Chunky salsa in Spanish Rice and oh my gosh, it was SO good. I'm either going to have to learn how to make salsa myself or buy more of Chi-Chi's salsa because it was absolutely perfect. I'm seriously getting hungry just thinking about it! I've also used this for taco style foods of course, and salsa in general I've used for other things.. I believe I used some in noodles as a replacement for sauce.

Just a few comments about Chi-Chi's Hot Thick & Chunky Salsa: I thought the spiciness was good, I like hot food (I chug cayenne pepper daily if that tells you anything.) My boyfriend, however, felt it wasn't hot at all. He likes his food spicy, and he's been eating spicy food a lot longer than I have though. According to the packaging, it is all Natural Ingredients. The jar we got was only 16 ounces. I wish they had a larger size, maybe they do but the 16 ounce was what was available at our store. I would definitely use this and eat it more often if I could find it in a larger container.

I may just have to hunt down a good salsa recipe and make it from scratch.. or keep some on hand for those emergency days when I'm not sure what to make. Either way, yum yum!
