7 Polish Manicure Extravaganza Part Three: Kleancolor Holo Yellow

 I recently bought Kleancolor Holo Yellow from Copious for just 1 penny using credit. This is my very first yellow, as yellow is one of my least favorite colors. However, I quickly fell in love with this color! It is absolutely stunning, even with just one coat. There is so much shine and glitter packed into this little polish, it's almost like looking at a rainbow in a gemstone. Top coat really brought out the shine as well. I'm definitely very happy with this polish, and despite it being yellow, I'm very happy I bought it.

A few notes: the color itself is kind of weird and probably not for everyone. It's not a true yellow, in some light it almost has an orangeish mustard look, and in other light it looks more green.

It also seemed to dry really slowly, but by this point I already had a few coats of polish on, so it's hard to tell.

The single thing I did not like was the smell! It's the most awful smelling polish I've ever owned! I barely have any sense of smell, so if I'm complaining about the smell you know it has to be pretty bad. This is definitely one polish to stay away from if you're sensitive to odors like I am. I love this polish but since I'm prone to odor induced headaches, I definitely won't be wearing it often... and only then with the fan going and the windows open!

This is also my first Kleancolor polish, so I have to wonder... is the smell typical of their polishes? Or is it just this one? I'd love some feedback. I thought about buying some more KC recently, but the thought of the smell turned me away, it really is that bad.
