It's All About You!

When I was a little girl, growing up I was often inspired by the toys and cartoons I played with / watched. I remember at the time how gorgeous my She-Ra horses were.. almost magical when I was wee little. When I was older, I was sad to see those same horses again and to see all they were was just cheap see through plastic. Not so magical.

I wanted hair like that of my My Little Ponies; shiny and weird colors with pieces of metal shinnies all throughout it. I don't remember specifically what was so great about her nails, but I remember watching Jem and the Holograms and wanting her nails. When I was older, it was Sailor Moon's nails I envied. Every now and then I get lucky and I do a manicure which takes me back to that special childhood place of dreams, color, and beauty... and makes me feel like I am Jem :D Yesterday was one of those days!

I started out with my hideous brown manicure which I showed you yesterday. I applied two coats of one of my new polishes, Sinful Colors All About You and wa lah! Magic!

(Once again, sorry for the messy clean up... working with 4 hours of sleep here :b )

All About You was a first for me: first Sinful Colors but also my first jelly. Talk about messy! I kept getting it on my clothes because I didn't wipe off the brush as much as I should have. I'm definitely not used to having that much polish on a brush at once. It was really easy to work with aside from my own messiness, and it dried really quickly. Overall, I love this polish. I saw it in the store and knew right away I had to get this color, it's absolutely beautiful. I've been wanting a gold glitter for awhile and this is exactly what I wanted. I don't know how well you can see it in the photos, but it's not straight gold glitter, there's chunks of a reddish orange glitter as well so in the bottle this looks much more orange than it actually is.

I love it, and I'm definitely looking forward to trying out my other Sinful Colors polishes (and buying more!)
