Color Runway Eyeshadow Review

If you've read my old posts at all, you'll know that last month I ordered some makeup from Amazon, they shipped me the wrong makeup, and I ended up getting it for free :) That makeup was Color Runway eyeshadow, sold on Amazon.com for $9.99. The packaging is similar to the Shany Cosmetics I had actually ordered, but at a lower price and different palette of colors. I'm not really certain if the maker of this particular palette is called Color Runway, or if that is just the name of the line of makeup or what. Anyway. At $9.99, I didn't have high expectations for this palette.

I was pleasantly surprised. I expected the eyeshadow to be very dry, dusty. It's not at all. The outside of each shadow is very glittery, and hard. It's a little flaky at first, but once you've used a color a few times it's actually very creamy and very, very easy to work with. I mention the glittery colors because I expected these to have some shimmer when applied, but they don't. The colors I've used so far have all been very nice, easy to apply, and look great. I have no complaints about this palette, and I think it's a pretty good buy for the price.

I should mention I'm still very much a novice when it comes to makeup, but at least for the beginner I highly recommend this palette. There's a nice selection of colors, I love the creaminess of these shadows and you can't beat the price. The only problem I have is there are a few too many blues, too many browns, but otherwise it's great. I do love there are so many almost white colors; those are great for priming, or highlighting. I bought a Shany palette at the same time and I think I've actually used this one more.

Thanks for reading my blog! Hope this helps someone out :)
