Pokemon Nail Art Challenge: Electric

Today I have another Pokemon manicure for you.. hopefully you all aren't getting tired of the theme because we still have a lot more to do! We're officially about half way through this challenge now :)

Today's manicure is an Electric Pokemon. Pikachu is definitely my favorite electric type from the original Pokemon, but I figured lots of others would be doing Pikachu so I decided to do something else.

Electabuzz, I choose you!!

here's a description of Electabuzz from Bulbagarden.net :
"Electabuzz is a slightly humanoid and partly feline creature covered in yellow fur with black stripes, one of which is shaped like a lightning bolt. It has a long, cat-like tail. The three toes on Electabuzz's feet are arranged like that of a bird's foot, but its hands have a human appearance, with five fingers on each hand. Electabuzz has two sharp fangs and a pair of antennae. In the dark, Electabuzz will glow a light blue with the electrical charge stored inside of it."

Slightly feline? huh. Did not know it was supposed to be feline!

Pikachu decided to make a guess appearance.. can't leave it out of a post about Electric types!

I started typing this up last night but then ran out of time.. and here I am unable to sleep so I figured I might as well finish this post. So please bare with me if my writing is a bit goofy from this point on.

I really love this manicure, but apparently it wasn't the most original idea as Kelly from Nails for the Sake of Sanity did a very similar manicure. For mine, I used Zoya Pippa, Kleancolor Holo Yellow, Kiss Nail art in Black and Sally Hansen White Tip. I used Zoya Paz for my shiny Electabuzz.

This was my first attempt at doing something this small.. I think I'm getting the hang of it although I wish I would have thought to do a different color behind my normal Electabuzz.. oh well! I really love the tiger stripe nails on my middle fingers.. I will definitely keep it in mind for another manicure some day :)
