At the end of January, I won Bunny & Spice's first Youtube giveaway!
super exciting! If you're not familiar with Bunny & Spice, it's written by NeNe who lives in Japan. I really love her blog because I get to see what living in Japan is like.. I love her pictures and she has plenty of product info which is really cool. Just over the past few years, Mike and I have really started watching a lot of anime, and learning about the Japanese culture in general.. so to win this giveaway was just really cool. Mike told me I should save the packaging.. yes, yes I am.
Here's everything in the box.. after I had looked through it.
First up is this really cute bento box. Now I'm going to have to learn to cook things to keep in here! If you're not familiar with bento boxes, they're Japanese lunchboxes... this takes me back to high school. We had a foreign exchange student from Japan and I remember one time she brought her lunch in a bento box. She even let me try some of her seaweed. It was really good, actually!
Here I took the lid off to show you, it even came with chop sticks! Eating with chop sticks is one of the things I'm good at! I will definitely have to figure out what to cook to use these with (remembers we're eating chicken stirfry for supper tonight - there you go!)
The box has two storage containers which are held together with a black elastic tie. As you can see here, the white parts are the lids and the pink parts serve as the containers. The entire thing is very efficient.
Next is this Hello Kitty headband which is really cute.. I think I may give it to my niece as she loves Hello Kitty.
I also received this really cute bank. Here it is pictured next to the box it came in.
She also sent me these postcards and bookmarks. I'm not familiar with any of these characters so I'm going to have to look them up sometime.
This is the backs of the previous bookmarks.. as you can see it makes a picture. Pretty neat.
I also received a bunch of beauty goodies! I got an eyebrow pencil, mascara, a set of soap, moisturiser and nylon wash cloth, another moisturiser, and an aloe mask sheet.
I also received these Hello Kitty cookies and I am definitely going to have to wait until my niece is over again to try these.. she's going to just love this! On the back of the box is a little Hello Kitty cut out doll. Really cute!
Next is one of the prizes I was really looking forward to getting! Mike and I have been watching these video reviews on Youtube of these basically toy food kits, and we've been wanting to try them for awhile. Just from watching the videos, it kind of reminds me of Easy Bake ovens.. but without the special oven. I received the donut kit! They make these in all sorts of things, they even have a miniature pop. I'm sure this is all really unhealthy but it will still be really fun to try :)
Last is this cute little coin purse which she stuffed full of samples! I believe there are 28 samples in there and there's only maybe 3 brands I recognize.
So that's everything. I seriously had to sit back and just stare at everything for several minutes as I took it all in.. so many new things to try out. I'm looking forward to it!
Thanks again for my awesome prizes NeNe!
Nice, love seeing things from other countries
