I'm continuing my manicure today with another Julep polish, Melissa. I bought this one last July during a flash sale and got it for about $1.25. Julep describes Melissa as "Sheer opalescent shimmer." I bought this one specifically because I think one of the bloggers mentioned that it can be used to transform any polish into a holo? Yeah, not true. It can however make a pretty iridescent look of course!
Here, I just applied 1 coat of Melissa over a thick coat of Nora.
I didn't quite get the look I wanted, but it was still pretty and it definitely transformed Nora into something quite different, wouldn't you say? Definitely a fun and simple way to transform a simple manicure.

I love this polish so much that I have a back up but it is definitely NOT a holo! Who the heck tried to claim that??

I wish I could remember who claimed that.. it was so long ago oh well, it doesn't matter. I'll definitely have to try it over some other colors sometime. Thanks for the heads up about warm colors :)
