Winter Polishes Wishlist Part 1

I know everyone is super excited about the Halloween and Fall manicures and new polishes right now, but my mind is already turning towards thinking of Christmas and Winter. Growing up, Christmas was a very big deal in my house. My dad loves holidays but especially Christmas. Of course, he looks like Santa Claus so I suppose it kind of goes hand in hand with that. Back when I had the money, I would begin my present planning for my family in June. My dad typically starts playing Christmas music around August or September. We like to get an early start on it, and remember the Christmas spirit longer than most people, I suppose. These days because of money restrictions I don't do as much as I would like to for Christmas, but I do make a ton of cookies, and some simple decorations.

So, as much as I love nail polish, I thought I'd get a head start on making up a Winter wishlist so I can watch out for these year round. Copious of course comes in handy for some of this! I hope to have a little bit of extra spending money around Christmas time to buy a few things for myself, also :)

First up is the Color Club Beyond the Mistletoe Collection from last year. Angel from Mega Nailattude gave me Gingerbread, but the other polishes look pretty awesome. Scrangie of course has some pretty great swatches of this collection.

Then there's China Glaze's Let it Snow collection, also from last year. China Glaze came out with a ton of sets for this collection which I think is really pretty cool... I'm looking forward to seeing what they have for 2012. Become Gorgeous did a good listing of the new China Glaze polishes for this year, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they will have as sets also. I like sets :b
Vampy Varnish swatched the entire collection.

Out of all of these, I definitely want Winter Ice and probably Santa's Little Helpers if I can find them both. It kind of blows my mind that there were so many sets released just in one season by one company. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the other brands release, not to mention all of the Indies.

There are a ton more polishes to show you so I think I'll make this a weekly post for awhile :) I want to show you the old collections but some of the new ones as well!

What are your favorite Winter polishes? I'd really love to know!
