My Life Today

So not much to show you from this past week, but look what I woke up to today!

I was going to post this anyway.. but who wants to help me celebrate? Virtual cookies all around!

I made sugar cookies this weekend for the first time in years. These were kind of a staple in my family for Christmas time treats. I ended up making 89 cookies total, so most of these are in our freezer to be eaten later throughout next year!

 My sister bought me some sugar cookie supplies for Christmas a few years ago, so I'm happy I was finally able to use them.
The cookie cutters are Wilton 18 piece cookie cutter set, similar to this one. The angel in my set is different than the one in that link, but otherwise I think the set is the same.  These all worked really well, no problems! My only complaint is there is a little bit of rust on a couple of the cutters, and these are practically brand new :(

 The Christmas tree and snowflake sprinkles are each Wilton brand, but I can't seem to find them online. Similar items, if not these exact items, can be found at Wal-Mart.

The giant container of sprinkles is Dean Jacob's Sparkling Sprinkles, and it contains red, silver, green and white sprinkles. Again, similar items should be available at Wal-Mart.

It looks like a great start to the month for me! Now hopefully I can calm down and focus long enough to get some cleaning and other things done around my house! Emergency crack down cleaning time around here :P
