Today I get to show you two polishes I won in giveaways! :)
First up is Chrome Girl's Barely Legal. I applied 1 thick coat, and it applied almost completely perfectly with just the 1 coat. There's some minor streakiness which didn't really bother me so much because it wasn't quite as obvious in person.
Barely Legal is a nice soft Sky Blue creme and oh my gosh this stuff applies so perfectly. I'm really in love with this brand of polish, it's fantastic! I definitely need more Chrome Girl polish in my life. Unfortunately, this brand runs at $12 per bottle which is way out of my price range.. too bad for me! If you have the money, definitely pick up some of this polish. It's definitely worth the money.
Here's one more look at Barely Legal just because one picture is never enough :)
Next, I applied 2 coats of Daphine Polish Skating, which is one of her new Winter polishes.
"'Skating' is a lovely little instrumental from the soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas , and it makes me think of a clear ice blue pond with dainty figure skaters dashing about. Metallic, matte, and holographic blue glitter, metallic silver glitter, and silver holographic diamonds with gold shimmer in a clear base."
My boyfriend said this look makes him think of Easter eggs.. and there's a definite Smurfy look to it, but I thought it made for a pretty combination. I think Skating would look really pretty over white, but I wanted to go for something different. Skating is available on Etsy for $10 for a full size bottle.
Yesterday I commented about how diamond glitter seems to be pretty in fashion at the moment..
