Today I have the first of three facial products from Valentia for review.

Review:

I'm not sure about this mask. It clearly states on the label that it may cause some tingling. However what I experienced felt more like mild burning. I did notice my skin seems to be more sensitive after using this product as well. I definitely would not recommend using this if you have sensitive skin because of this issue. I only used it for fifteen minutes at a time. The instructions indicate you can use it up to thirty. 

This mask smells ok. I don't think you can tell from the picture but there's just something about the color of this mask which makes me think of chicken fat. Not a pretty thought when applying it to my skin. 

I don't quite get what makes this a plumping mask either per se. 

So this wasn't my favorite facial product but I guess it did the job and I do like that it used natural ingredients. 

Edit: I think I know why I experienced sensitivity with this mask. I found the box and I somehow missed that this contains dandelion. As a kid I tested positive for a dandelion allergy. I never noticed any symptoms and my last allergy test did not show an allergy to it. I'm guessing I have a sensitivity to dandelion which I was not aware of at all and so in the more concentrated form I was able to notice issues. This would certainly explain why I feel so awful in the summer months when there are so many dandelions in our yard. :(
