Mind Dimensions Bundle by Dima Zales review

I received this item in exchange for an honest review.

I'm trying to stick to reviewing only on the week days now so I can spend more time with my boyfriend on the weekend but I wanted to get this review done today as well as the coffee grinder so you'll just have to deal with an extra post today :D

Blurb:
The Thought Readers (Mind Dimensions Book 1)

Darren's had it easy his whole life. Finishing Harvard at eighteen, a lucrative job on Wall Street at twenty-one—all things are possible when you can cheat by stepping outside time. Thanks to his ability, he's a know-it-all, but what he doesn't know is how he's able to do what he does.

That is, until he meets Mira and discovers her dangerous, hidden world.

The Time Stopper (A Mind Dimensions Story Prequel)

Mira can stop time, but she can't change anything. After her parents are murdered, she'll do anything to get revenge—even take on the Russian mob.

The Thought Pushers (Mind Dimensions Book 2)

Review:
I previously reviewed the Time Stopper here so I will only be reviewing the other two books.

I actually don't usually go out of my way to recommend products to people unless I'm doing reviews or they specifically ask for my opinion, but I found myself recommending Mind Dimensions several times within my book club on Facebook. While there is a hint of a liberal viewpoint behind these books, I enjoyed them regardless. I really enjoyed reading the beginning of Darren's story in the Thought Readers, and finding Mira so involved in the series. Some of the ideas behind these stories aren't exactly knew, but The Thought Pushers was full of twists and I found myself mentally yelling at the author at one point: "No he did not just do that!" Speaking of old ideas, I think what makes these books so good is that although some of the ideas aren't exactly new, many of the old clichés are avoided. This kind of experience, well written story telling is so rare and I'm happy to have found such a gem in the Mind Dimensions. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

This set is available from Amazon for $5.99 Kindle edition or $23.17 for paperback.
