My head hasn't been feeling very nice the past few weeks so I just don't quite feel like blogging much.. or doing my nails. But I was looking through some of my old pictures just now and I realized I never posted anything new about my aquarium over the past few months so I thought I'd take a minute to show you some pet spam :)
I'll try to get back to the nail polish posts tomorrow or so.. :)
Here's my very last addition to the aquarium, my red dragon betta, Hugo. He is a halfmoon plakat. You can't really tell from this picture but he also seems to have some dark etching on his scales, the typical pineapple coloring.. but I'm not sure if that's just part of his dragon colorization or not.
Next is Lady, my tracked snail.
I also have 2 African Dwarf Frogs. This is Jit....
... and this one is Spaz. I think. LOL
I had a bunch of ghost shrimp, and an apple snail named Flinch. However, I bought Zoo Med Labs Aquatic Frog and Tadpole Food for the froggies a couple of weeks ago. DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE SNAILS OR SHRIMP. I didn't think to check the ingredients, and it contains copper. This food killed my shrimp, and poor Flinch just died this week. I have no idea why my nerite is still alive, but I'm thankful it's survived. I'm really sad about Flinch.. I can remember when he and my shrimp were the only pets I had. I spent a lot of time watching them, and watching them grow. I hope to get more shrimp and another snail some day.
