Ph Test Strips -160- count 15 second results Review

I received this item in exchange for an honest review.

I've known about the importance of proper pH for a very long time, because it's one of the things Teresa Tapp talks about. I was curious about checking my own pH as it is an important factor for weight loss. Smart Solutions provided me with one of their pH test strip kits to try out, so here is some more information about it for those not familiar.

What are pH strips

pH strips are filter paper impregnated with an indicator or a mixture of indicators.

The paper is dried, cut in convenient size, and then packed into a suitable package.
To use pH test paper are by far the simplest way to measure pH.

How to understand the results:

Discover the pH of your urine or saliva with our super accurate pH test strips.
Made specifically to test saliva and urine these are by far the most accurate and economical test strips on the market.
pH testing strips give you the ability to test your urine or saliva each day to gauge your internal health.
This enables you to adjust your diet and supplements to achieve the optimum balance for health and peace of mind.

The test strip single pad, full range pH test strips are:

• Easily read with increments from 4.5 to 9.0

• Simple to use

• Made of Professional Grade material

• Come with a double color head

• Do not bleed when using

These strips are pretty straight forward and easy to use. I like that you have the option of doing either a saliva or urine test with these and I also like that it comes in a plastic case which makes storage simple and protects the testing sticks from outside contaminants.

I used these by both methods with similar results. It looks like I'm slightly acidic with a pH of 6.5 so that's something I will be working on. I hope to improve my pH by drinking lemon water alone. With being sick the past few weeks I just haven't thought to do this test much so it's something I'll focus more on when I'm feeling better.

When I first received this in the mail, my boyfriend's sister and her husband were over and of course they were curious and had to try this out. They both tested alkaline while Mike tested acidic so it's probably the food we're eating (we had eaten acidic foods previously.) Having others here to test out this product for me was a nice bonus just to see the different results.

The only thing I don't like about these test strips, and I think you can tell from my picture, is that the colors don't exactly match the chart. I know it's difficult to simulate colors and get a perfect match and of course I'm used to this kind of thing from doing test kits on my aquarium water. However, the four of us all tested our saliva and we each felt the color green on our results wasn't anywhere on the color chart. We tended to just go by the shade of yellow to determine our pH levels.

We also noticed the longer these strips sat, they changed color, so this is something to consider. I know when it comes to aquarium test strips, they're not supposed to be as accurate as using the test tube method, so I don't know if that's true for these or not. Just a random thought and observation.

These pH strips are available on for $11.99 and are eligible for free shipping on orders over $35.

  1. Wow ! Great information about pH test strips effectively since they are an over the counter thing and no medicine is required. There are times when individuals will overlook that they have lapse dates and will give them a chance to terminate before use which implies there must be a consistent supply to the individual regardless of the possibility that they don’t test their recommended sum.
