Sation Seriously Slate and Fantasy Makers Once Upon a Time

I won these polishes.

This is my final post of October manicures. This one I took the pictures and then kind of forgot about it last minute, oops. Which is ironic because I had been planning this manicure all month long and then didn't get around to doing it until the last week of October. So it goes sometimes.

Sation Seriously Slate is a gorgeous dark grey polish with some serious shimmer to it. You can see it's pretty sheer, but on my middle finger you can see how pretty the shimmer is.

The only thing I don't like about this polish is how sheer it ends up looking on my tips. That seems to be a big problem of mine with a lot of polishes. What can you do? Cover it up with glitter!!

Here I used 1 coat of Fantasy Makers Once Upon a Time. I love how this combination turned out.. and it does look a little washed out in my picture but it was much darker in real life.

... and still my tips are thin. Oh well, you win some you lose some. So that's it for my October manicures, but I still have a couple of Halloween polishes from this year on their way, hopefully soon so I may have to blog about those next week or so instead of waiting a whole more year! Lots of great Christmas & Winter polishes being released right now.. this is seriously my favorite time of year for polish releases :)
